Awareness Series for Arab Women — Session Two: Exploring Mindfulness

As part of our ongoing efforts to empower Arab women and promote their mental and emotional well-being, we held the second session of our awareness series, focusing this time on “Mindfulness.” Mindfulness is a conscious practice of fully being present in the current moment, accepting feelings and thoughts as they are without judgment or resistance.

During the session, participants explored the following topics:

The concept of mindfulness and its positive impact on quality of life

Techniques to focus on the present moment and overcome mental distractions

How to accept emotions and thoughts without excessive engagement or resistance

The session concluded with a guided, calming meditation that helped deepen participants’ sense of mindfulness and strengthen their connection with themselves and their surrounding reality.
